Job Description:
We are looking for a First-off Quality Inspector / CMM Operator, someone who has a good hands on dimensional inspection background with complex aero products, to include landing gear parts, as well as cylinders, pistons, axles.
The First-off Quality Inspector will perform CMM inspection, as well as visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies. Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be fully conversant in a range of inspection equipment, including thread gauges, plugs, bore mics, height gauges as well as micrometers and verniers.
- Candidiates must be experienced in the operation of CMM, specifically using PC-DMIS on DEA Global Advantage & IMS Merlin MK3 machines.
- Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
