*** Supplier Development / NPI Quality Engineer – Ukraine ***
Verify are currently seeking a Supplier Development / NPI Quality Engineer to support an NPI program. The support will be delivered on-site at a supplier facility in Western / North-Western Ukraine (Lviv region anticipated). The programme involves transferring a proven defence manufacturing process to a new supplier to build additional production capacity. Candidates must be fluent in Ukrainian for working with the supplier and shop-floor personnel, and English for reporting and customer interaction.
The support will include:
- Conduct internal audits across key production and support functions
- Verify compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Quality Control Plans
- Perform in-process and final inspection on selected product batches
- Verify product dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, steel forging characteristics and overall finish
- Identify and record non-conformances, ensuring accurate documentation in line with customer and industry requirements
- Support corrective and preventative action planning and follow-up activities
- Assess supplier readiness, capability and process robustness as part of NPI activities
- Provide independent inspection and reporting to validate supplier performance
- Participate in quality review meetings with customer stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, inspections, corrective actions and quality performance updates
Experience requirements:
- Demonstrate evidence of more than 3-years in the last 5-years working within an aerospace, defence or steel forging manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of steel forging processes, inspection methods and applicable industry standards
- Proven experience in supplier development, NPI quality engineering, process auditing or similar roles within a manufacturing environment
- Competent in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, material specifications and digital product definition
- Fluent in Ukrainian and English, both written and verbal
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across shop-floor teams and customer stakeholders
- Defence background highly desirable, ideally holding or having previously held Ukrainian MOD security clearance
- Willingness to travel to the UK for training and programme orientation
The role will be based on-site in Ukraine.
