Verify is seeking an experienced Source Inspector to provide part-time / as-required support at a supplier facility in Dayton, Ohio, inspecting electroplated A380 landing gear components prior to release to our end customer. The purpose of this activity is to ensure only conforming product is released and that any issues identified through the inspection process can be rectified quicker.

This is an as-required role, expected to average one day per week on-site. The schedule may vary depending on production volume and release requirements.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States and be a US person
• Able to attend the supplier site in Dayton, Ohio, as required
• Available to commence support at short notice 

• Visual inspection of electroplated aerospace components prior to shipment
• Verification of dimensional characteristics using hand measurement equipment (e.g. micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Review of documentation including Certificates of Conformance (CofCs), routing / traveller records, and special process paperwork
• Verification of serialisation, identification, and traceability
• Documenting and reporting non-conformances in accordance with customer procedures
• Providing inspection status updates to the customer Quality organisation

• Minimum 3 years’ aerospace manufacturing or inspection experience
• Experience with surface finish / special process components (e.g. anodising, chrome, cadmium, passivation, shot-peening). Experience with nickel plating advantageous but not essential
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Hands-on experience using standard inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Understanding of AS9100 requirements and aerospace quality controls advantageous
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently while representing the customer professionally
