Accountable for the maintenance and update of the Document Management System and Technical Library.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the correct issuing of drawings and other materials from the Document Management System as requested by all functions and production personnel.
Responsible for the generation, update and maintenance of the Technical Control Manuals (TCM’s) for various projects on site.
Provide engineering data support to all areas (i.e. engineering, quality, production, and any other area as required).
Assist in the implementation of visual displays and control documents to assist in the communication of quality and engineering information within the business.
To ensure information published to the supply chain is topical.
Create and maintain manual and electronic filing and recording systems in support of Engineering Control.
Ensure timely support of engineering data in preparation on new bids and estimates.
Enable new business introduction by co-ordinating the flow of engineering information in and from the site.
Qualifications
One year relevant office experience, including implementing and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently if required.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
A good standard of education with knowledge of office procedures.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
