Mechanical Inspector needed in Gdańsk, Poland.

To inspect Air Release Units (ARU’s) which are medium complexity structural steel
fabrications in sheet metal ranging from approximately 15-50mm in thickness,
and Y-Pieces which are fabricated from wide bore steel pipe. There are
multiple ARU’s and Y-Pieces supplied in each ship set.

 Overchecking physical inspection work on the product, this will include
visual and dimensional checks.
 Verification of tasks conducted by the suppliers in accordance with a
defined Inspection and Test Plan.
 Verifying progress against milestone plans.
 Supporting as the eyes of the customer during Class Society Inspections.
 Reporting back to customer team in written, photographic and verbal
formats.
 Identifying and proposing process and method of manufacture
improvement opportunities.

Experienced and capable personal who can be relied on to fulfil a range of
unsupervised activities (as previously described). The individual(s) involved
should therefore possess several years of experience within the Marine sector,
and specifically in the manufacture and inspection of medium to large size
steel fabrications.
