Job Title: Program Manager

Seeking Program manager in Subang, Malaysia

Responsibilities:

• Hold program ownership and accountability for P&L and deliverables according to the statement of work.
• Co-plan and orchestrate with Operations Manager to ensure smooth and successful execution of program. Ensure program deliverables are delivered on-time, and within quality, scope and budget by all stakeholders.
• Co-develop program’s objective with Operations team inclusive of program rate readiness and introduction of new products.
• Develop budget with Operations and Finance team and all program stakeholders.
• Manage costing / business case for key modifications and engineering changes (internal & external) including cost-benefit analysis.
• Manage commercial letter change submission into customers and Pricing Performa generation. This includes data validation and all changes are identified and captured in pricing update.
• Manage Closure of Customer invoicing post work completion.

Contract review (Purchase Order review and scope management per costing submission).

• Manage schedule review and ensure impact is captured and agreed with customer. All supplier feedback to be ensure received and impact agreed with contract review team. Rate tooling impact understood and clearly identified – internal and all suppliers.
• Ensure customer requirement flow-down into integrated product team and to ensure flow-down is clearly captured and communicated to all stakeholders.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly program cost performance review with stakeholders.
• Interface with overseas customers via face-to-face, email correspondence and teleconferencing.
• Measure program performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Critical and forward thinking in performing risk and opportunity management to minimize risk and to capitalize on opportunity.
• Establish and maintain good relationships and close communication with customers and all program stakeholders.
• Create and maintain program tracking documentation and reporting to the senior management and customers.
• Report and escalate to senior management as needed on critical matters.
• Provide guidance and coaching of subordinates as part of succession planning requirement.
• Report to Senior Program Manager / Programs Director.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or post-graduate degree in the fields of business administration, science, engineering, finance or supply chain management from a recognized university.
• Strong leadership and multitasking abilities, as well as having a good sense for scheduling and finance.
• Proven working experience in project/program management, past experience in the aerospace manufacturing or MRO sector, and PMI qualification would be an added advantage.
• Strong customer focus couple with good interpersonal skills and understanding of all program stakeholders’ need.
• Willingness to engage in non-standard working hours call with overseas’ customers due to different time zone.
• Good mobility to travel overseas within reasonable short notice period.
• Excellent with customer and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP and ERP system knowledge is a plus.
