Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections on precision-manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Inspections will be conducted per engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications. The inspector will communicate inspection accept/reject results directly to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Perform in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
✔ Verify compliance with ANSI Y14.5 (GD&T) or equivalent standards.
✔ Read and interpret engineering drawings and purchase orders (POs) accurately.
✔ Utilize mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
✔ Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 requirements.
✔ Document inspection results and communicate findings effectively to the customer.

Required Qualifications:

🔹 5+ years of recent experience in aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing inspections.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
🔹 Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
🔹 Ability to work independently and meet quality standards.
🔹 Computer-savvy with a keen eye for detail.
