Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to conduct visual and dimensional inspections on precision-manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Inspections will be performed according to engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications. The Inspector will report inspection results (accept/reject) directly to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Perform in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
✔ Ensure compliance with ANSI Y14.5 (GD&T) or equivalent standards.
✔ Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and purchase orders (POs).
✔ Utilize precision mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
✔ Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 standards.
✔ Document and report inspection results directly to the customer.

Required Qualifications:

🔹 5+ years of recent aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing inspection experience.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
🔹 Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
🔹 Ability to work independently with a keen attention to detail.
