Job Summary:

We are seeking a Production Recovery Specialist to support supplier delivery improvement efforts. This role involves daily tracking, monitoring, expediting, and reporting on improvement actions to ensure suppliers meet delivery and quality expectations. The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive process improvements, enhance supply chain performance, and ensure timely product delivery. 

What You’ll Do:

Onsite at Supplier(s) facility to:

  • Monitor & Track Deliveries: Ensure suppliers meet delivery timelines by proactively tracking production progress and addressing potential delays.
  • Expedite & Resolve Issues: Work closely with suppliers to identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and expedite critical parts as needed.
  • Report & Communicate Status: Provide regular reports on supplier performance, improvement actions, and overall delivery metrics.
  • Implement Improvement Strategies: Support process optimization efforts by analyzing supplier data, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective measures.
  • Ensure Quality Compliance: Collaborate with quality teams to ensure suppliers adhere to manufacturing standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Work cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, logistics, and production teams to improve supplier relationships and performance.

What The Supplier Does:

You will represent on behalf of our customer, onsite at a Leading manufacturer of aerostructures and energetic integrated systems for missile, space, launch vehicles, and military aircraft. energetic products include cartridge- and propellant-actuated devices (CAD/PAD), separation and deployment systems, electromechanical systems, and safe-and-arm initiation systems. Systima also provides standalone aerostructures including military aircraft pylons, launch tubes, interstages and shrouds. Systima’s main campus is located on the waterfront in Mukilteo, WA, which is just south of the Paine Field Airport in Everett, WA. Systima’s state-of-the-art facility has over 330,000 sq/ft for engineering and analysis, prototype development, testing, qualification and production. This facility also includes structural composite manufacturing, machine shop, energetics handling and integration, and clean room production spaces.

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 7+ years of aerospace industry experience

🔹 4+ years supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or related field

🔹 4+ years of experience in expediting

🔹 Experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferred) and supplier performance tracking tools

🔹 Strong ability to analyze and manage production flow
🔹 Confident communicator who can challenge suppliers when necessary
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Must have your own laptop)
🔹 Experience in manufacturing logistics & quality control (preferred)
